Two Adults and One Teen Arrested for Shackelford Drive Murder of Teen Boy

MESQUITE – May 11, 2021 – Mesquite Police Department investigators have arrested three suspects for their roles in the April 26, 2021 murder of a teen boy in the 4100 block of Shackelford Dr. in Mesquite.

The suspects have been identified as Patshy Bryson, 31, of Balch Springs; Marvin Henderson, 30, also of Balch Springs; and Jamya Harris, 17 of Dallas. All three suspects have been charged with Murder.

The shooting appears to have been the result of an arranged fight that took place between several people at the location.

Henderson is being held in the Dallas County Jail on three bonds: previous conviction of Assault of a Family/Household Member, Assault on a Public Servant, and Murder that total $256,500.



Harris is being held in the Dallas County Jail on a $150,000 bond for Murder.
